The CIA’s station chief at its sensitive post in Algeria is under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly raping at least two Muslim women who claim he laced their drinks with a knock-out drug, U.S. law enforcement sources report. The suspect in the case is identified as Andrew Warren in an affidavit for a search warrant filed in federal court in Washington, D.C. He was ordered home by the U.S. Ambassador, David Pearce, in October after the women came forward with their rape allegations in September.

According to an affidavit filed in federal court by the State Department's Diplomatic Security Service, the first alleged victim said she was raped by the officer in September 2007 after being invited to a party with US embassy employees at his residence.

She said that while there, she was served mixed drinks of cola and whiskey that were prepared out of her sight.

Later in the evening, after the final drink served by the officer, she suddenly felt ill and vomited, and woke up in the officer's house the next morning nude after being apparently raped, according to the affidavit. She said she had no recollection of having intercourse.

The second alleged victim described a similar incident that occurred in February 2008, according to the affidavit.

The discovery of more than a dozen videotapes showing the CIA officer engaged in sex acts with other women has led the investigation to include at least one other Arab country, Egypt, where the CIA officer had been posted earlier in his career, according to officials.

Ironically theUS officials have refused to name the 41-year old CIA officer by name but they claimed that the officer was a convert to Islam.
